Banger Alert!!! Mr Kurt Of Rockcity Empire Finally Drops “Catalyst”

The Rockcity Empire, the group responsible for the hit track “Sagl3 beat la” has finally dropped the much awaited single titled Catalyst. The track features one of its amazing acts, Mr Kurt aka KansiMoliga, and is produced by Azkona. A catalyst has several meanings, but the meaning implied by this title is “something that causes an important event to happen”. The single is therefore seen in this light as a catapult to propel the act to the next level.

The rapper begins the track with a lot of energy and sustains it throughout the track. This many think is not his style, but for a track that a full core rap, such energy is desirable and understandable.
According to KansiMoliga (Red Ant), the point must be made crystal clear, that the track is not a diss track or influenced by an existing beef with any other musician.

He personally has no beef with anyone but his lyrics were influenced by creativity and a desire to see certain attitudes that would not help he and his colleagues artistes grow, expunged.

The tune gives advice about humility, the need to strive for quality over quantity, and why it’s good to be comfortable in being unique.

The track is an over 3 minute rap from start to finish. He raps in four different languages, skillfully commencing with Buli, switching after a while into pidgin English, and then into Frafra. He goes back and forth between Frafra and English, and eventually exits with French.

You will love the play with words, similes, and multilingual creativity.
